What services are included in the price of my stay?

Where can I park?
Parking spaces are available in front of and behind the building. On request and subject to prior booking, you can reserve a parking space in our garage (€10.00 per night in summer, €15.00 per night in winter). Electric charging stations are available for an additional fee of €25.00 per night.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
Which daily newspapers are available?
Copies of the German newspapers “Die Welt” and “Frankfurter Allgemeine”, as well as various magazines, are available in the reading corner. Additional newspapers can be ordered on request and will then be waiting for you at the breakfast table.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
Smoking is only permitted on the terrace, on the balconies, and in the smoking lounge.
Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Small, quiet dogs are permitted in some rooms by prior arrangement. Please bring your own dog bed, food, and lead. Your dog is not permitted in the restaurants, bar, lobby, or the wellness area (indoor and outdoor). We charge €22.00 per dog per night.
Is it possible to send letters or postcards from the hotel?
Yes, the hotel’s postcards are available free of charge; postage is paid by the guests.
What are the opening hours of the wellness and sauna area?
Water world: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sauna world: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Are bicycles and e-bikes available to rent?
Yes, they can be rented directly at the hotel for a fee. The fee is €17.00 per day for mountain bikes and €30.00 per day for e-bikes.
Is there a fitness and cardio area?
Yes, use of the gym, including the cardio area, is included. The gym is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
What happens to lost property?
Lost property is collected and sent to the owner on request.
Are there any facilities for storing luggage?
Yes, if your room isn’t ready on arrival or is already booked for the next guest in the case of late departure, your luggage can be stored separately at the hotel.
Is it possible to hold meetings at the hotel, and is meeting equipment available?
Yes, we have 5 conference rooms and group rooms as well as workstations. Depending on their size, they’re equipped with standard technology (including flipchart, pinboard, high-speed internet, projector and screen, notepads and pens, and presentation materials). We offer additional services (e.g. snacks, supporting programme, buffet) on request.

What accommodation options are available for children and babies?
- Cot in the parents’ room: €40.00 per child/night
- Extra bed in the parents’ room: €90.00 per child/night
- Discount on the room price: €30.00 off per child (up to 16 years old)/night
- The full price applies for guests aged 17 and over.
Can extra beds be provided in the rooms?
Yes, on request we can provide extra beds in rooms from the comfort double room category upwards.
How often are the towels changed?
Daily, on request.
Are pool slippers and a bathrobe available to borrow?
A wellness bag containing towels and bathrobes will be in your room when you arrive and is available for use throughout your stay. We kindly ask you to bring your own pool slippers. Alternatively, these can be obtained free of charge from the reception.
Bathrobes are also available in various sizes for children.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
We guarantee that your room will be ready for you from 3 p.m. on your arrival day. On your departure day, we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m.
How and until when can I cancel my stay?
Cancellation is only valid if made in writing. The following deadlines apply.
- Cancellation is free of charge:
- up to 14 days before arrival during travel periods A, B1, and B2
- up to 21 days before arrival during travel period
- In the event of late cancellation, 100% of the agreed room rate will be charged, minus the cost of meals.
- In the event of late arrival, early departure, or no-show, the full agreed room rate will also be charged, minus the cost of meals.
- Day spa visits can be cancelled free of charge up to one day before the booked date. In the event of last-minute cancellation or no-show, 70% of the package price will be charged.
The guest reserves the right to prove that the hotel has suffered no loss or a lesser loss.

What payment methods are available?
You can pay your bill in cash, by debit or credit card, by bank transfer, or with a voucher (only by prior arrangement and upon presentation of the original voucher; no cash value).
Until when can a booking be cancelled?
- Travel periods A and B: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival
- Travel period C (Christmas/New Year’s Eve): free cancellation up to 21 days before arrival
- In the event of cancellation after the dates specified above: the agreed room price minus the cost of meals (depending on the terms and conditions, a refund may be available through your travel insurance)
Can stays be extended?
- Early check-in from 10.30 a.m., including use of the spa: €25.00 p.p.
Please note: your room will be ready from 3 p.m. - Extension until 2 p.m. on your departure day: €20.00 p.p.
- Late check-out until 7 p.m., including an afternoon snack: €39.00 p.p.
Please note: we kindly ask you to vacate your room by 11 a.m. on your departure day. Depending on the late check-out package you have chosen, you may use the spa until 2 p.m. or 7 p.m.
What is the discount for regular guests, and when does this become available?
If you book a minimum of 3 nights, you will receive a 5% repeat-guest discount from your 2nd stay onwards and a 10% regular-guest discount from your 6th stay onwards (excluding travel period C).
Can vouchers be ordered?
Yes, you can order your voucher for a set value or package online in our voucher shop, by phone, or in person. Vouchers can only be redeemed with advance notice and upon presentation of the original voucher. No cash value.

Our health resort, St. Englmar, is located at between 800 and 1,095m above sea level.

Is it possible to travel by train, and is there a transfer service available?
Yes, you can reach us by train via Straubing and Plattling train stations. Upon request, we will be happy to arrange a transfer for you.
Is a shuttle service available?

How much is the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is €2.30 per day for adults (aged 16+) and €1.40 per day for children (aged 6 to 16).
