While we were looking for a location for our sustainable hotel and throughout the subsequent planning and construction phase in 1984, environmental protection was right at the top of our list of priorities. This is also confirmed by the certification from the Bavarian Ministry of the Environment: in 1991, we were awarded the silver environmental seal as part of the “Environmentally Conscious Hotel Operations” competition, and we’ve been proud holders of the gold environmental seal since 1993.
